Joanna Michaltsis, born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, discovered her passion for art early in life. However, it wasn't until 2016 that she found her true calling in pop art on canvas, where she brings her creative visions to life using acrylic paints.
Self-taught in art but with a background in physiotherapy and currently pursuing psychology studies, Joanna finds her inspiration in the world of portraits, particularly of women, but also of men and well-known figures. Her works often reflect feminist themes and messages of equality.
Although Joanna has yet to participate in exhibitions or projects, she plans to do so in the future. Inspired by artists like Andy Warhol, she aims to create beauty while also raising awareness of societal issues.
For Joanna, painting is not only a passion but also a source of relaxation and healing. During a period of illness, she found solace and distraction in art, which helped her to recover and replenish her energy. This personal experience not only shapes her art but also her outlook on the importance of relaxation and self-care.
